Backyard Wedding – Brechin
When it comes to cute weddings, Diana and Matt’s backyard wedding really takes the cake. The events of the whole day took place at Matt’s family home and local community centre in Bayshore Village, Brechin. Located just off the shores of Lake Simcoe, it provided the perfect backdrop to their magical day.
Working as a second shooter to Danielle of Everyday Deelights Photography, I spent the majority of my time with the groom and his friends in the most perfect room to take pictures in. The room had gorgeous natural window light and a very unique looking ceiling. I could envision exactly how I wanted to frame and edit the shot before I even took it.
The ceremony was held outdoors in the backyard where friends and family gathered close to witness Diana and Matt tying the knot. As everyone moved in closer to fit under the tent, we were treated to a cultural performance as Matt and his family made their entrance. For the reception, the party moved over to the community centre. The night was filled with tear jerking speeches and a WHOLE lot of dancing!
