Ficklewood Farm Intimate Summer Wedding – Orillia
Paul and Sheila had a beautiful summer wedding at Ficklewood Farm in Orillia earlier in this year. I love documenting smaller outdoor weddings, as I feel it’s more intimate and really allows for the bride and groom to connect with their guests.
Ficklewood Farm was an absolute blast of a venue to work at. The ceremony area was situated right beside a pond and everything on the property had been carefully designed and crafted by the owners Ron and Bonnie. A gorgeous dining shelter was set up to enclose the reception, and it was also home to a wood-burning pizza oven built from stones found on the property. It was love at first sight!
The night ended with a spectacular fireworks show across the pond. Couldn’t ask for a better way to close out a wedding day!
